The best time to plant your trees depends on where you live. You want to give your trees a chance to establish themselves. This means planting new trees during your area’s gentlest season when trees receive enough water, and the temperature is not too cold or too dry. If you plant in spring on the west coast, specifically California, the dry summer can be too harsh for saplings to grow strong roots. Fall and early winter months, such as September, October, and November, are better to plant young trees.
The fastest-growing tree in the world is the Royal Empress tree or Paulownia. However, you may want to be careful when planting this tree in your yard. Although the Royal Empress Tree has beautiful flowers and a large canopy, it can be high maintenance, tends to spread, and may be difficult to remove.
Yes. Trees add curb appeal to your home, increasing its value. However, this increase is said to come from healthy, mature trees. If your trees are not well maintained, they can have a reverse effect on your property value.
